I joined ESRI in 2004 as a senior sales executive. I am involved in the direct sales of our products to clients and ensuring they understand our technology and services. This entails working with Professional Services, Technical Support, Customer Service, and Product Management to make sure we deliver on the promises we make to each customer.

ESRI is renowned for excellence and quality. Prior to coming to ESRI, I worked for other companies in the geographic marketplace. Customers would frequently tell me that ESRI is the best company in the industry and that its products, technical support, and customer service were unequaled. When I had the opportunity to become part of the ESRI team, I didn’t hesitate because of all the great things I knew about the company.

It’s a rare thing to get paid to do what you love. I love the geographic field and I know from previous experience that this is an extraordinarily well-managed company. Expectations are high at ESRI, but so is the personal satisfaction derived from a job well done. As ESRI grows by leaps and bounds, I feel as though the opportunity for my personal and professional growth is unlimited as well.

It’s easy to point to the obvious virtues of working for ESRI—the ethical way we do business, the collegiality, the satisfaction of helping customers find the right GIS solution for their business needs. Between that and all the great people here, I find a career with ESRI to be a pleasure and a privilege.
